Marc Caro, director of DANTE01 part of the French focus VOYAGE FANTASTIQUE at the Festival today. Caro, with Jean - Pierre Junet signed among the rest, films like CITY OF LOST CHILDEREN and DELICATESSEN is one of this years edition special guest and will present to the public his works.
Comic book illustrator and 3d animated graphic tester, Marc Caro shores on cinema after a lucky encounter. It's 1974 and Caro begins to work with Jean- Pierre Junet. With DANTE 01 he signs his debut as a director. Claustrophobic and dark, formally very elegant, this film represents very well Caro's style.
