When hard rock meets science fiction universes... pics featuring today, Thursday November 13th. "Dark Floors" and "Chemical Wedding". But these are not the only horror wonders in program...
Program unwraps at 5.45pm with "Dark Floors:The Lordi Motion Picture", starring the successful Finnish band Lordi: a man, his autistic daughter and other people are trapped in a deserted hospital, inhabited by mutilated corps and tenebrous creatures.
Director Pete Riski and screenwriter Pekka Lethosaari will present and attend the screening.
At 8.00pm don't miss Julian Doyle's "Chemical Wedding", written by Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden's historical front man: a fanatic follower of Aleister Crowley, one of the most innerving figures in Edwardian Britain, upsets students at Cambridge University.
For those who love shivers, at 10.15pm can't miss the Italian premier of "El Orfanato", Spanish block buster and Academy foreign nominee in 2007: Laura buys the orphanage she grew up in and wants to re-open it with husband Carlos and son Simon. The mysterious environment awakens the child's imagination.
